Why can't I open the photos that are posted as a bmp? Any one have any suggestions? It always askes what program I want to use to open them but I can't find one that works. Thanks.

what programs do you have, I know paint works, but sometimes the quality is bad and the editing options are horrible

Riverratt,

Bitmap images won't autoload because most of the time those files are very large, and it's best to just load the link instead. Typically, photos should be posted as JPEG images though.

thanks for the replies. I did try paint. That was the only one that would open but as you said, poor quality.
Greg, what do I do after I load it?

when loading pics i always do the JPG

I would go with " Photo-Shop 7.0 ", way better!;)
