Whats Average Water Pressure ?

ON A MERC V-6..... WHATS YOUR AVERAGE WATER PRESSURE, SAY ...MID RANGE AND TOP END ? IS THERE A SAFE MINIMUM YOU'D LIKE TO SEE BEFORE CONCERN SETS IN ? C'MON GUYS.....NEED SOME INPUT HERE .

On My 2.5 merc at WFO I have 15 psi and at crusing say 4000-5000 I have about 7-8 psi

The Standard Production (not Hi-Performance) V-6 with an unmodified cooling system ie. T-stats and Water Pressure Relief Valve (Poppet) installed, should be 17-22 psi @ 5000 rpm.
