Igniton ?

I have 73 Glastron Bayflight V174 I'm thinking of going to electronic ignition is this a good or bad idea....also I found a switch on the back side if the throttle lever, shift limiter I think but it's unhooked how does this wire up?

It could be any thing because you did not say what motor you have.:) The people on this board are real smart and helpful but they need more info to be helping you.
