no tack

i have 79 235 and i need to know what is the tack wire thanks spd liner ps the RBR was a lot fun

Tach wire is grey 18 ga wire coming off the power pack 4th terminal down from the top and going to the rectifier and then from the rectifier to the main connector on the engine and out the other side. if your tach is inoperative you probably have a bad rectifier.
