well i don't really think Im wrong because after looking at the old posts on this subject about the SDS v's PCU I never said that the PCU wouldnt work but that I thought the SDS was a better unit , and I have used it for around 2 years with no problems.....Well I just purchased a PCU from Tony in last 2 weeks and after testing it....well its the one thats staying in my boat....im not saying nothing negative about the SDS but from what I've seen from the PCU in the short time I've had it is very simple and to the point it WORKS.....Very nice job Tony. I'm always happy to convert a skeptic.

You're the only other person that I know of besides me, who has has had an SDS to compare the PCU against.

Thanks for the compliments.

OK then say what you like about it.

What you've stated does have merit since you have tried both but what is it?

I don't have any experience with the other one, but I'll tell you what I like about my PCU: Tony is accessible and VERY helpful. I got mine the day after I ordered it, and stuck it on the boat and it ran super right out of the box. I bought his "steam wheel" (on dash adjuster) and haven't even put it in the boat.

Buying stuff that works like it's supposed to from good folks that don't forget you after they get the money is what makes me happy.

sorry for the late reply...my pc's been down since friday night...anyway to answer your question , 1) I like that the PCU has a map that does work great.....I run a bass boat and the ecu being able to sense engine load & prop changes is sweet. , 2) I like that I can carry a merc ecu and just plug in if the PCU happens to quit. I think they are both great pieces way better than merc ecu's , Tony is very patient and helpful on the phone and so is Wayne and in an all out WOT race ones no faster than the other but for my use which is hot lakin and bass tournaments the PCU suits me better.
