I checked my charging system out today and the only thing that I found was that it failed the third phase of the rectifier test. I checked it over and over and the third phase of the check states thatconnect red meter lead to terminal B, black leads alternately to terminals a and c. No continuity indicated. says to replace rectifier.
Anybody have a rectifier for a 1988 2.4 BP 16 amp system for sale.
Many Thanks Carter Powell

You probably don't need one any more, but I got p****d off with paying stupid money for a rectifier from merc, so I now use a bridge rectifier from an electronics warehouse. It's to a superior specification to the merc junk, and about 10% of the cost.
Cheers

Go to Radio Shack and buy a full wave rectifier for about $3.00. If I remember, the only thing I had to do was convert the screw terminals to push on spade terminals.
