Any special tricks to pulling an outboard 3.0L Sportmaster other than removing the 2 nuts on either side and the center bolt under the plug?

If you don't have the engine upside down when you do it, there is no need to pull. Gravity will do the work for you when you have removed the screws.__PRESENT

There are 2 allen bolts under the trim tab you have to remove also. When you install make sure shift rod (running down front of case is in lower unit right) may have to turn engine over to get splines to match so lower unit will fit all the way up. Gear shifter in neutral and gear case in neutral.

There is only one bolt under trim tab. May be allen or hex

I am, but the salt is different here than in Florida.

While the screw under the trim tab can sometimes be a bit of a pain, disassembly is very easy.

Lining things up properly for reassembly, as Bill points out, is the trick.__PRESENT
