So I took my oil injection pump out to clean my block and now I can't figure out how to put it back in.
2000 150 carbed merc serial 0T145971
I know of the two seals according to parts diagrams but im uncertain of their assembly order. One of em looks like it goes over the bronze bearing but idk??
Does anyone have pictures or an explination of the assembly?
Also, what came out was an o-ring with a square cross section, but the replacement orings i just ordered, according to pictures both seem to be round...confusion.
and what about the magnet that goes inside? I see some parts list calling for it and some not.
I did not pull the bushing out of the pump. that o-ring is still attatched on the outside and I assume there is another inside according to pics/diagrams.
my question is, The two O-rings that are called for, are they just for the bushing?
i'm going to try and upload pictures as soon as possible to help out.
