Allison SS owners

Been thinking about this for a while. I love everything about the SS except the rear hatch, it's a pain to access from in the boat! So I've been thinking about designing a hinge to open the hatch to the side rather than the rear as it's designed. It will be clean with no exterior screws. I'm gonna make at least 1 for me. If there's interest from others I'll make a jig so I can make more.
Just a thought that's barely on paper so far, but I figure there's other owners out there who would like to access all the storage in the back easier.

If there are interest out there the first ones sold will go towards paying this site for "vendor" fee.

It would be nice, I have both hatches, the race hatch wont open if the motor is tilted in certain positions, pic of what your talking about
