Rewiring Questions

I have a late 80s norris craft bass boat I am going to do a complete rewire on. I was going to pull out everything except the harness to the engine. What wires are in the harness to the engine? The boat has mercury controls and will have a mercury engine. Thanks

Red wire is +, black is -, gray is tach, purple switched +, black/yello stripe kill circuit, yello /black stripe is choke, yello/red stripe is start, tan/blu is oil module. Some have 4 wires with bullet connectors and the tan is temp warning, brown is trim gauge, green and blue are the trim.
