I fukn love aircraft carriers....cant have enough of them...no more steam launched aircraft..electric rails...bad ass. It is a boat...and it does float...gotta like it.

That wiki page is a SOLID example of why never to quote Wikipedia as a source of any information. it states multiple different dates as the start of construction. find another source...
