been bustin it lately, I like the SMALL red bull on a long roadtrip, perks me up without feeling all jittery. expensive ,,, yes , but works. I've started buying " Rockstar " at the dollar tree for a dollar a can, maby twice the size of the small redbull @3 for 5.50 at circle K, put in a big insulated mug and just take sips, works good and gets me going. I have problems with the acid in coffee any more, used to pound it for decades, no more. fun out

I like the 5hr Energy if I need help waking up. Not the best tasting but none of the crash you get from Red Bull, Rockstar or Monster.

V8 makes an "energy" drink that has not given me a bit of energy but they taste really good so I drink em anyway. About the only caffeine I get.

That is because it has phosphoric acid in it. That is what gives it that bite.

I drink one Rockstar a day, with lunch, to keep me from getting tired. I like it way better than soda...much less carbonation. Flavor is good. I only do the pure zero version with 0 fat, 2 carbs, 10 calories. Smiths/Kroger and Albertsons regularly sell them for $1/can.

Check out Bang. None of that garbage in it. Zero sugar. Got good amino acids and some vitamins. But it has 300mg of caffeine. It gets me going real quick.
