yeah i have a bunch of stuff too including one really nice ff block that has 6 new sleeves matching front that i have 750.00 in machine work in it no one willing to pay for the cost plus a little though and a lots of parts cranks rods heads of all CC's and so on as you know ecus are the issue:eek: also a rebuilt 200 efi whole mota that has 6 new sleeves that i ran around 20 gallons of fuel through in my allison test boat which i also sold last year most of my parts are leaning towards the rebuilder style shop not service work folks so lots of incidental stuff like throttles arms, anchor brackets, harness's sensors and such

that looks like a 40 amp cast flywheel. probably why you don't have spark if you have 16 amp stator

A 98 sport jet 175 had a 40 amp stock from merc , if it has a 16 it has had the ignition system changed , do you have 2 regulators on back motor by heads?

Maybe sport jets are different. I have never seen a cast 16 amp flywheel.

I had a cast 16 amp, I’ll check and see if I still have it and if all magnets are in good shape, if not you can use a flexplate one in its place. Going to be hard to find, the one I had was the only one I have ever seen.

I would run flexplate flywheel over cast if I had the choice. Little lighter. I have a 9/16 flexplate if interested. $35 plus ride

:iagree: That’s the reason I had one laying around, because I replaced it with a flex plate. It seems as though mine has a cracked or repaired magnet also. The way the magnets are just glued on and hanging out there with no protection makes them prone to damage, kinda of cruddy design. Was only holding on to it because I felt it was unique being it was the only one I had seen

I wouldn't bother trying to fix it. Flexplates are lighter and seem to last forever, but that's up to you

yes. top of sportjet crank splines are the same. bottom of crank is different. will bolt right on.
