F1 2.0 questions

Trying to determine in any of the F1 2.0 motors were nic. One reply on sst120 said all oval ports were chrome and the Bridge Port 2.0s were nic.

Anyone know for sure ? Thanks Mike

The 2L SST motor 120 was Steel the earlier to 2.0 F1 Motors were Chrome bore the later 2.0 mod U motor bridgeport's were nicisil if I remember correctly

think it depends on yr if chrome or nic... oval or bp made no difference.. all chrome went away and was replaced with nic seems like??? same year tha very first 260 came out???.. like '90 maybe???

I will get a year of production and see if he's had the heads off to determine if it's a BP. Thanks for the info and insights !

the 1990/91 up 2.5 casted block was the behind liner Bridgeport 2.0 F1/mod u motor and was nic
to add anything in the 2.4 casted block 1990 and below was either steel or chrome 2.0 or 2.4
1990/91 was the transfer yrs from 2.4 cast (steel or chrome) to 2.5 cast (steel or nic) blocks
