Twin hydronic jack plates tips to keep them even

I have a 24 pantera cc with twin 2.4 Bridgeport’s it has hydronic jack plates on it and I find that they can be uneven sometimes after running. Any tips to keep them even. Should I put indicators on them will they be accurate enough?

I am in the process of mounting a pair of hyd jackplates on 24" centers and we are bolting a plate to hold them together and running both on one pump. They are Stainless Marine Gorilla jacks-Jerry has the plates for 24" to 30" centers.

How much are you willing to spend?..how bad is it?
Do you run off a single switch..
What kind jackplates and how old?
I'm looking for the link but they make an electronic setup that will keep them in sync... But not cheap..

They are older made by a company in south Florida jacks I think. And I was even considering buying a Porta bracket but I’m redoing my boat and I’m sure a Porta bracket is going to be in the 5 grand range I’m willing to do it but would be nice to make what I have work

I would look into a setup like Joe is doing
Would just need to modify what you have.
Probably wouldn't cost more than if not less than just getting good gauges..

Actually what I was looking at doing to mine but they are never really out of sync because they run off one paddle switch.. and are new

I have Porta brackets on my other boats but the motors are not close together so the "bolt on plate" would never have been an option. What I am doing is far from new and has been run successfully on several twin race boats having narrow centers. The other positive aspect is that you only need one height indicator when they are linked as one unit. Twin height indicators never stay in sync for very long (there is just too much slack in a cable of that length).
