I am having my 225 Pro Max bored to 30 over. Will I have to have anything done to the ports? Thanks David Dean

Not if u want it stock. Just make sure u have a really gud machinist

All ports including lower ports need to be slightly chamfered after boring. Upper ports to prevent from snagging rings, lower ports to reduce lubrication from being wiped off

X2 ^....A good knowledgeable machinist is important because they will/should know what he needs to do.

on second thought contact james perry he does the ports after boring and he has cross hatch honing contact james at 423 3040930

I agree with texas , that dude is a bada*$... if he is willin to take ur block u should b glad to let him have it ,,, no joke dude is that gud. A monkey can bout put together a merc but if block work ain't rite I dnt care who u r. It wont run long
