I can't agree more about keeping two strokes around and alive....hell, I'll probably never own a four stroke, but if I were to buy one it would be a merc.

I love my " old junk " more and more every day!
Had a friend ask " why in the world would you drive 45 minutes to buy a 32 year old outboard? "
" Cause I like 'em " was my reply.
Can't ever have enough clean, freshwater 2 stroke outboards.

I agree!!! I’m never giving up my two strokes. I too will drive several hours to buy an old one (which I’ve done more times than I can count). No four strokes for me! I like ‘em too!!!!
