Most guys i run with that like to "wring out" their Rangers, run a Tempest or Fury, depends on how high on the plate you run the motor(high=Tempest low=Fury). A Ranger needs all the bow lift you can give it!

I haven't run a tempest but did try a fury on previous rig and it had tons of bow lift and run stiff

I tried a 27 3 blade , was great prop ,but had to much lift for that boat, I sold it long time ago but would try another n heart beat

It appears that u are only getting 5600 at wot with 24 trophy.
i would try a 23 fury on the ranger. I’m running a 24 on my tr 19
with 200 efi.

May be to much plate for the boat and mother ? A6-8 would be better with a 25p Tempest plus at 3 .50 below pad . to get the rpm up a tad . Rise the motor a tad 1/4 at a time until u lose speed or water pressure?
