Mercury 250XS trouble code

I took out the boat this weekend and my motor started beeping and the smartcraft gauge said "fuel injection not working properly see dealer soon". It is a 2010 250XS. Anyone had this problem before and what was the fix?

Trouble code on DDT said FINJ2 OPEN

Air or fuel injector not operating correctly. Sounds like fuel inj, with a FIN J2 code showing. Get it figured out, this can blow your engine.

I already pulled air and fuel injectors and they tested good. They both flowed good numbers and not the problem. I even swapped injectors to another cylinder and code stayed on the same cylinder. I am starting to think it might be a harness issue.

Then my guess wiring harness issues. do a pin check for ohms from ECM to injectors.

Or the ecm could be bad, just find the open could even be a loose pin or ground, I think ground would show more then one though.

It ended up being a bad injector plug when I was checking the plug to ecu. Easy fix and thanks for the input.
