I am installing a 2008 optimax pro xs with 14 pin harness is the oil level part of the harness or is another harness needed.

Oil tank in boat has it's own harness of 3 wires going back to the motor. Color coded bullet connectors on mine. Star side of engine.

Only some.boat mounted tanks have a level alarm.

Both the boat mounted tank (if it has a level switch) and The engine mounted tank alarm is in the 14 pin
