My boat is a 1990 Caliber 1 202 stinger with a mod vp hull. I have a Mercury black max 2.4 200 (V-200). How many rpm's should
be able to push out of it? Also what would be a good prop for speed with this setup? Thanks for the help!

If you go by the book i believe its 5800 rpm but i turned mine 62 to 6300 and i also removed the oil injection and pre-mixed the fuel.

I've been thinking of removing the oil injection and just pre-mixing. When taking off the oil injection do you just take off all components and just plug the holes? What mix ratio do you use?

I had an 89 2.4 200 that I spun to 6750+ a few times. 22 chopper to 70 mph. It took it in stride, although I think the cooling system had a hard time keeping up. She got hot. 6250 is good. They don't make any more power the higher you spin them

I have agree with radiant and talon, will run out of air after 6200ish , will need block work so it can breath anything over that , but I'd spin that mota 6200 all day. And it live
With oil inj removed ov course
