Thinking about throwing together some spare parts for a fun weekend and spraying the piss out of it. What can be done with the smaller 2.5s? Will porting help alot? Can I bore it to normal 3.50 pistons? And will one fogger do on the carb front or will I need 3 or 6? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Just looking to make a few good passes as cheap as possible and have some fun. See how long it will actually hold.:D
Way cool! That should be fun while it lasts.

Never did nitrous, but I have been around a few in the pits and the odd one in the shop. So grain of salt cautions.
There was a spacer made custom job or premade no idea. That sprayed under carbs, like a undercarb spray bar on a car. Can’t remember if he ever won though or just blew up.
A guy guy has one set up front stay on the air box it’s still running, wonder myself if he uses it never see a bottle in the boat.
The nitrus local class class has a few people locally but they stay secret so no idea on the setup.
Most I see never get used.
That probably was no help. Just what I see in the shop.

I'm thinking a fogger behind each carb may be best but open to suggestions
As long as you stick to the basic principles , you will be OK .

best line I ever heard about nitrous is - "nitrous is like a slut- you know you want to hit it but you know there will be consequences"

Figured I'd learn on a junk motor

Going to take plenty if pics and a video right?
Even if it blows(on cheap junk motor) would be interesting

I have an old 7 petal 2.4 intake with nitrous, it has two spray bars going through the middle of intake ports from top to bottom with the holes in each port and attach the nitrous lines to the two top ports in top of intake. I’ll dig it out and get some pics, I think I have removed the tubes and epoxied to holes in, but I’ll look

Yep cant rember them member off hand but love it ,
My old bridgeport had a six pack intake with nitrous and enrichment tubes as described above. Just a brass tube with very small holes in it. I would think knowing the proper size for said holes would be imperative not only for the nitrous but also the enrichment fuel of choice. Currently have a 150xs with nitrous that is plumbed directly into the reed cages. Nitrous on one side and enrichment on the other. Doesn't seem to me to be a great idea as I don't see them mixing sufficiently before entering cylinder. I am hoping to build a spacer and inject between carbs and cages. Might have an extra bottle and set of solenoids if you need them.

Could it be sprayed into crankcase side, after the reeds? Further increase crankcase pressure?
I did a jet ski years ago don't remember where I put the nozzles. Could use the bleed ports?

I ran a system on a 200 Merc that was carbed. The spray bars were as described above. The intake was drilled and the spray bars ran down the center. It was an old Land and Sea system, only a 70 hp shot, but was a lot of fun.

Heres the pics of the two tubes, one is is for nitrous and one for fuel. In second pic if look closely can see the orifaces for each and can see the difference in sizes between the fuel one and nitrous one. I have filled the holes in intake, but can see where they passed through middle so each tube can hit each cylinder in corner of ports near divider between the ports (it was also cross drilled and I filled those also, so ignore the the larger spots that are filled).

Do the orifices in the tube dictate the shot or jet size going into them?

Yes, the holes in the tubes are like the nitrous and fuel jets dictating the hp gain and are calibrated to each other by the different sizes of the orifaces between the fuel and nitrous to keep your fuel mixture from leaning out or going too fat.
