What could I expect with a 275 Verado on the back of a 21 Action CC. Would the increased weight negate any performance gains. Lots of 25 and 20 inch 275 out there relatively cheap. Love the 4 stroke quiet and torque.

serious question. do you think the boat would stay near the surface enough to recover it, or do you think it would sink? just curious.

Lots of people running Verados on Paramounts. My question is more on the lines of will a 275 Verado offer enough performance gains due to weight etc...or am I better staying with the lighter options such as a 250xs.

300XS probably your best choice for performance. Love the Verado for smooth silent cruising and the DTS controls. And you can send the ecu and turn it up. IMO Verado is pretty heavy for that boat. Also the XS is very good on gas!! I have both engines

I figured if a Paramount can run a Verado the Action could do the same. I just was hoping to take advantage of all of the Verado 275’s for sale. Figured I could flash for a little extra hp if needed.

The fuys hanging 275s on the paramount are getting the same performance numbers as a 225efi. Action being a lighter hull and no wedge I would imagine running 65 plus. Not sure how that hull would like the extra 200 pounds, but there is only one way to find out.
