View Full Version : Michigan house bill 4362

Introduced by Rep. Jason Sheppard (R) on March 13, 2019
To prohibit using boats on a public inland lake before 8 a.m. and after sunset, unless further limited by local or Department of Natural Resources restrictions. The DNR would have to post the hours at public boat launch sites.
Here is the Rino whores contact info....have at it my friends

This is his bull**** back peddling response...
"I have observed over the years that many inland lakes have set their own hours, through DNR rules, for activities such as high-speed boating and water skiing. These activities are prohibited in many lakes from the hours of 6:30pm until 10am the following day. Many of these rules were adopted in the mid-1960s. Clearly, these hours do not represent today’s families and their schedules.
I introduced HB 4362 to allow for more time to enjoy on Michigan’s inland lakes—unfortunately, the way the bill was written does the opposite. Please know that I am in the process of drafting alternative language to more clearly attain my goal of making our state’s waters more accessible to all."

More and more and more and more rules.
DEMOCRAPS = LETS MAKE MORE RULES
Rebulicans = Leave the damn rules alone, and lets improve common sense.

All of these legislators and congress people think they need to get feathers in their cap. Unfortunately the only way for them to earn feathers is buy creating and supporting additional laws that punish and or limit their constituents. I was raised on Gull Lake in S.W. Mi. and saw this coming from a very early age when one of our neighbors "who never went out in her boat" proposed a law that governed the speed limit to 40 m.p.h. She and a group of housewives in the area made this their focus for no apparent reason and dug their heels in to where it became their personal mission. I have no idea why so few people showed up or voted to oppose it, but now the residents have had to live with it for almost 40 years. The lake is approx. 7 miles long and a mile wide at some points. This included snowmobiles, atvs, cars, -everything on the water or ice. I got to know our local law enforcement team on a first name basis as a kid and most of them agreed that it was ridiculous.
The bottom line is if you don't want it, you better fight it now and not let it make the rule book.

Just another "do nothing" ass-hole trying to get attention for himself. It is against the law to ski after dark here also. As long as we had a full moon, it never stopped us!!!

Not to turn this into politics but Republicant's are just as much to blame as democraps currently are. Our country is a mess because of party politics/
And to get back on track, I have been emailing this guy daily. No response.

8:00 AM? Well that just killed recreational fishing. WTF is wrong with them? Never got up before sunrise to go fishing? Or gone night fishing?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to say?
You started namecalling with your democrap comment, I was just making you aware that this idiot is a republican not a dem.

So a realtor turned politician sponsors a bill to eliminate boating between sunset and 8am, and we’re supposed to believe it was an accident. Made by people whom draft legislation as a job. That we, the taxpayers, pay them to do with some semblance of competence.
Is this guy eyeing some lakefront property and wants to make sure his weekend getaway stays quiet? Maybe he’s first in line for that lakefront chalet the FBI siezed from the Taylor Mayor!

I like Michigan lakes but the only time i will go there is a special event. With the 55 mph speed limit and the c/o's being absolute pain in the asses to anyone whose boat number doesn't start with the letters MC i just don't need the hassle.
