Is there an adapter plate that will allow me to install a 1999 3.0L powerhead on a 1999 2.5L midesction?

Should be , but out of my era, being so much else the same.

Scott Porta has the adapter plate for a 3.0 powerhead to a 2.5 mid but its going to be pricey. Mercury made one for a 2.5 powerhead to fit a 3.0 mid and they are around 1500.00 I think.

Ok. Thanks. Thought maybe I had a solution to my blown motor. I’ll keep shopping.
