Mercury 300XS 1.62 SM $10,500

For sale is my 2007 Mercury 300 XS with 1.62 sport master. I have a chance to upgrade to a friend’s motor, if his motor sells before this one this one will come off the market as I do not have to sell and have no issues with my current motor.

550 hours.
Injectors flowed religiously almost every year.
Mercury premium plus oil and 93 octane fuel only used.
CDR glass alien cowl with carbon plenum.
Hydrotech Tuner and poppet diverter.
1.62 sporty fresh oil and water pump.
20 inch mid section.

Price is $10,500 firm, with shipping to a YRC terminal in the lower 48 on a pallet $300.

Trades considered, running or blown but as this is my personal motor I’d prefer to sell it, or look for a clean 280 plus a little cash. This motor is on a bass boat, not on something heavy lugging, nor racing, it spent most of its life putting around night tournaments.

I’m in Lufkin(very close to Nac)don’t have a 280 but I have a “HOT” 225PM with offshore mid w/2 piece exhaust(because I bass fish as well and don’t like all the warming up with a one piece), Sportmaster lower, Lazer injection, Brucato ACU, single ram clamp and it’s got less than 30 hours on total rebuild with brand new stock heads!
