Your definition of light weight might not be a bullet bass boat, but guy in Florida running 111 mph. With 300R.

I sold a new 300R to a guy in Miami last month thats runs it on a Lake and Bay. Says it's the best motor he's ever had!

Seen a couple over here on the west coast. Owners like them, propping is different than an opti though. Seems they like a 4 blade on the flats boats.

Assuming that is your boat, how do you like the 300R schiadart?

Anyone hang one on a hydrostream or action yet? Curious how that weight will handle on a padded hull

The motor is bad ass for sure. Props seem to be a problem same props that ran great with the 300xs work like **** with the same set up. So far only an hour and a half run time and 3-4 props will try a few more tomorrow.

Repowered from 300xs to 300r on my sterling and I love the motor. So much more torque and mid range. Still prop testing but have seen a 4 mph gain from repower

I put the Bullet in the light weight class. Basically anything that can break 100 mph. Who is the guy with the Bullet?

Please share the details. What props worked and didn't work? Specific Speeds? What do you think your Sterling weighs? Etc...

I saw it on facebook. I believe merc cnc was 110 ish cleaned out. Normal props were right around 100 or a little less. Normally the 20’ Bullet is 106-108 with 300xs. I forget what to max 5 ran but it’s not more than double a normal prop as well. So if you have deep enough pockets for cnc it’s faster if you run normal props it’s slower..

I’ll be out prop testing Sunday. Currently ran a bravo 24 which runs 74 with me and full tourney load. Runs 73 with full tourney load wells full and three guys at 6400. Going to run 26 bravo 26 tempest if I remember right with some added cup, 24 fury and hoping to get a hold of 26 pro max. Going to run those and then remove trolling motor and poking platform and all of my fishing gear and see what she runs. No idea on weight.

I dare someone to tell Darris Allison they want to hang one of these on a new XB 2002. Knuckle sandwiches will ensue.

Lord willing, in a couple of years I hope to hang a 300R on my Grandsport when they get a 1.62 gearcase and/or a 15" midsection. Right now I am still in love with my 300XS.

Theres a orange lake and bay here local with a 300r supposedly runs 87-88 with a torquemaster. The guy actually fishes it so it’s already faster then he cares to go. The keys guys just ran 108 with a 300xs so a 300r should go faster with perfect setup.

I think if your application is torqumaster there is not a issue I have read about of props not working. It’s only in 90+ sportmaster applications that your starting from scratch
