Anyone know where I can find a cowling for an inline six mercury? I plan on putting new graphics and repainting so looks are not important. as long as not bent or broken. Need Top, bottom, and the wrap around piece. any help is greatly appreciatted.

I got the whole shebang three good clasps and all. Even partially stripped ready for paint. I can send you pics if you want

Would you have the lower, wrap around cowling by chance also, what do want for them? You can just post a pic on here if you want to.

I believe I also have a top hat, all of the support brackets (I think I have two of the front brackets where the switch box and rectifier mounts)

Does $85 bucks plus shipping sound fair?

Can you machine some brackets to make a clam shell v-6 style fit your in-line.....?....The powerhead may be too tall, but if it worked, it would fool alot of people when you removed the cowl to unveal a in-line 6. I have a complete set, brackets and all. You call, just thought I'd help a brother out.

I have not thought of that, I might have try that, considering i love to be different, lol are the clam shells Fiberglass?, I am going to replace this engine next year after I get everything else on the boat like I want, but this motor is in generally good shape and I will keep it for a spare or I know where an old Pontoon boat is that might just take on as another project when i finaly finish this one.

You'll find that the V6 cowls are way too shor for an inline. They're made from SMC fiberglass and the polyester resin that we're accustomed to using on fiberglass won't make a strong repair. It takes epoxy type materials. Inline cowl sets show on E Bay from time to time with good stickers, pretty much ready to go.
