I don't have any pics, but I recommend a bypass setup! I had a dead head setup and the floats on the bottom carbs bend over time. It's a pain in the neck to pull them off and fix a couple times a year! I talked to others at the party who have had the same problem so it's not just me...

I would run a bypass regulator in the cowling with a cross over line from the pressure to the return with a small orifice in it like some of the efi setups to bleed off excess pressure after shutdown. I would put the inlets on one side and pull the plugs on the other side and tee those together for the return.

It's a lot of plumbing but it will keep everything happy and also eliminate heat soak problems on restart because cool fuel will constantly be circulating through rhe carbs when the pump is on!

Sorry, I'm stuck in a hotel room, no pics!

The float bowls are drilled and tapped for a fuel inlet on both sides. Factory fuel system uses one side or the other. There is a plug in the unused side. I'm saying pull the plug and install a second set of inlets. Now you can have fuel going in one side and out the other.

Put your return regulator in the cowl, could probably make a bracket to mount it where the pulse pump was.

The trick is to run a hose to tie the pressure and return sides together. Stuff a jet or other small orifice in this line so that it will bleed off pressure after shutdown. This will keep stored pressure from bending your floats!
