Want to use this extra alien cowling on my 2.5 200 efi motor, but noticed the plates have different cuts in one area, is it ok to run it this way. Also the alien cowl came off a 2.5 260.424827424828

It looks good to me. The area in question is where the water enters the motor so it can be open (pic on right) or just a few holes for it to pass thru (pic on left)
