What are the bad, OK, and good pressure ranges for water and fuel 39lbs.
Temp range for engine and water?
EGT temp range?
Values for volts?

Need to find some senders that will have the proper range & and accuracy.

I'm going to take a stab at your question, but from what I have read on this board no two of these engines behave exactly the same which makes trends more important than absolute values. The motor is a 1993 2.5 EFI with a few bolt on mods. The cooling system is stock with .125 washers in the heads.

Water pressure:
0 at idle, 3-5 at low speed cruise, off the guage at high speed (15 psi guage).

Fuel pressure:
Wide open is 38-9, backing off from high rpm drops it about 5, idle is about 35-6

Head temp (measures on the head):
I live in FL so the water gets quite warm in the summer. In warm water it runs 130 to 132 at high speed and about 115 at idle. In the winter it runs about 10 to 15 cooler.

EGT:
Gaffrig by Livorsi dual analog guage. The probes are mounted in the two bolt holes in the bottom of the exhaust divider plate. I am told that the temps measured here are 150 degrees hotter than those measured down lower in the exhaust adapter. This is a lake boat so I try to run a little cooler than a drag racer would.
Wide open: 1200 to 1225, cruise: 1175 to 1200, idle: low scale. There are some power settings where I expect to see a drop or a rise and I like to verify that they are consistent.

Volts:
I have the 16 amp charging system so the voltage will not get as high as the 40. I like to know that it is higher than the no load battery voltage so that I know that the system is working. I typically see 13.1 at 3000 rpm with a optima battery. (weldon pump, with no other electrical load, the instrument lights are not powered)

I hope this info is of some value to you.

Thanks, this should be close enough. I needed to select the ranges so this is a start. For the head I don't need to start at 70* for example.
