Final primer coat after several hours of body work this boats top cap is very very thin so I fixed lots of cracks and busted spots.. The body shop were I work specialises in marine fiberglass and gelcoat repair. So I have had no excuse to not fix her up.. 424068424069424070424071424072424073424074424075424076424077424078

Can't go wrong with ppg. You using urethane or waterbase?
Have you done anything to the bottom yet?

I am the painter at our shop Thomas Collision in Paducah KY. I use the PPG Envirobase High Performance on all our Automotive repairs. So with that said yes I will use what I know..

I'm going to keep the bottom like it is because of the amount of labor it would take to take It back to stock... I like the way it drives with the extra tall pad . But I will keep in mind it is very dangerous that way and could turn bad very quickly!

I'll speed coat the v and pad areas. And paint outside of sponsons top cap colors.
That is easily the lightest STV I have owned and also the lightest I know of. The last thing that boat needs is a taller pad and keep in mind it has bitten nearly every owner, except me, since it was new. Be very cautious. Don't want to see you get hurt.
