Swapping over to the new Brucato ACU on my promax. Unwrapped all the electrical tape wrapped around the ecu connectors and it’s missing the gray “nut” I guess you could call it that holds the connectors togethor? Anyone know the parent number for that piece or do I need the whole ecu harness? Or just tape it back up like it was before lol?

I personally do not like to tape that connection due to trapping moisture. I use 3 or 4 tie wraps to keep it together which gives it a chance to dry if moisture gets around it....JMPO
Let me know if you need a picture.

The grey nut is a Mercury part number and can be easily acquired and installed if yours is missing I replace them all the time , I also install with di electric grease on the electrical terminals...Correct Mercury part number and part name is: ECU Coupling #19049-1

do I need to pull the hole harness to slide it over or will it fit over the connector somehow?

I buy them here. A lot cheaper than Merc. Exact fit.

NO , You do not need to remove the harness to install the Stock ECU nut , easy way to install is to boil some water and put ECU nut in the hot water while the nut is hot it is very pliable and will slip over it’s existing position lugs , with a little help with flat blade screwdriver it will easily pop into place ....
