Ran across this while cleaning out my desk at home. I bought a brand new boat from Hydrostream in Mar 1976. Dealt with Neal Tuttle and Ron Baker. Competition hull JP version. The Mercury blue color was special order. Paid $1350 for a hull and seat, $40 for another sea, and $100 for a complete dual ride guide system WITH the attaching kit! Bought a low hours 100% fresh water 1974 1500E from a tournament bass fisherman for $1200 with all rigging and competition trim cylinders. Set it up for ski racing, side by side seating. Blew it over the 2nd time out, hence the black stripes to cover the gelcoat scratches. On a Keller speedo it ran right at 80 as shown here and with observer and skier ran 66-67. For a 20yr old kid I was living the dream. This picture was taken summer of 1976.We repowered the next year with a 175 Black Max, speed went to 87-88 light, and 76 in ski racing form.Vnemous was the last owner, I believe. He sent me a picture a while back. If it was still around I would have tried to get it back.

Here is the link to the thread I posted years ago looking for the boat. Turns out George Fuller owned it last. Still exactly like I sold it down to the name on the side, the registration numbers, and the mercury decal on the trailer. This was an awesome boat, HUGE amount of fun per dollar!
