Carry an extra 10 gallons in jugs. I am going to bring 10 gallons of Av Gas so that I can mix a 5 of 87 from the pump if needed. My motor is really fond of fuel.

Last time I ran dam to dam it was 58 miles one way. There probably was a few loops at the ramp and near the dock in Chattanooga tallied on.

Bottom line is that we should all carry a can or two because one of our friends will most likely need it....and being towing or being towed sucks-

Hoo nose. Just wait and see. They were way off for the last big storm for a lot of areas. From what I have seen so far it may blow thru before the river run anyhow.

I got an STV Euro with a stock 280. I usually burn 25gal. when its all over and my gas gauge reads zero. I guess I got a 3gal. reserve

There is a pressure ridge that is predicted to hold the storm path South of Jasper. I have had hurricanes stop me from going for the last two years-not going to sit out again because of this one (its a lot smaller then the others).
