i am tired at looking at my volt gauge and seeing the meter showing less than 12 volts and wondering when the single battery will cause the motor to stop. Only have the electric fuel pump in this pickle fork. Do other stators work on this motor or am I stuck with 9 volt stator...Recitifier was gone when I got it so running it wide open. If I can, would you please give the Mercury number....Love the Bridgeport but hate the charging system and this 19ft pickle has no room for another battery given the power trim for the Bridgeport and power trim for the jack plate are mounted in this small area.
Thanks in advance,
Steve..

EFI eats volts.... put a red 40 amp flywheel and stator on it. red is light.....

My BP has 16 amp with regulator and never had issues, do put it on charger at the end of the day.

he's gotta have rectifier ta run.. 16's came with regulator.. 9's without but never have seen a bridge port or any other hi perf with a 9 unless it was changed... they pretty much went away with first gen block style... hung around on some production 135/150's a coupla years after that...
16 with regulator..
some take it off.. I was one of 'em… good battery and battery maintenance with big electric fuel pump can get away without it... jmo.
need part number of your stator???
needs ta be
5454A 35
5454A 36
5454A 66

Thanks Guys... Boat has no radio, nothing other than electric fuel pump... i will do some testing and will see what number stator is in the motor. Somehow remember 5454A36...i hadn't used the boat in a couple of years due to knee replacement and other health issues....
