Gorgeous sir!
People get all geeked over the GT's, CVXs etc but IMO, that is the prettiest boat they ever built.

WOW that is 10 of 10 I would say you have quite a few hours in restoration. It is perfection:thumbsup:that is show quality plus very nice. Rick
Cool restoration. My father in law has one with similar colors, but brownish gold interior.

Too much work to not get wet
Go Gil, Go Gil! Been wondering about your status on the resto, you have not been haunting the usual places magnificent!
When you are ready I’ll bring the Gt160 or my jet so we can go boating!
Thats gonna look ridiculously good in person.

Beautiful work there, where do you boat at?...I'm on the south shore.
This one is local to me and all original minus some transom work.

Love that Oldsmobile Engine!
Where are you gonna run that boat?
I'm from Mass also (Framingham), so I'm curious where you're gonna launch that Olds Rocket 88!

Gil, I live in Billerica and work in Framingham. A guy I work with has a mirage tunnel and lives in Framingham also. A bunch of us get together often and chat on Facebook. If you are on Facebook join up with performance boats of New England and/or backyard boat racing. One way or another we will have to get together and run.

Hello Gil,
With the distributor, the advance curve, how fast is coming in?
The engine build thread, don't remember what was mentioned.
Heavier off idle loads with people on board, tubing etc. I would think some on water tuning, bring the weights, springs, and stops to dial it in.

Its done and it got wet today . No leaks , water or fuel , i ran it for over two hours straight , took it easy , i spun it to 3800 rpm which around 32 mph . I still have to put more time on it to break in the motor , it ran solid not so much as a hiccup .

BTW Gil, boat looks awesome.
Hi Gil,
congrats wow this has been a long road, you first pictured it blue paint and all back on fiberglassics a looooong time ago. I know the CT river on the section you are wondering about very well as well as the Merrimack River Lowell to Nashua. I live on the Mac river between the ocean and Haverhill, all good places. I get together with the backyard racing crowd either with the Hydrostream the Glastron or the jet, great group of guys. Next time I’ll ping ya through here, would love to see in person, just spectacular.
You should go to the end of season run on the CT south of Hartford, lots of boats show and good time to meet the more local people as most everyone goes. It’ll be posted in the events section in Sept time frame .
Awesome feeling when it’s all finished and the first shakeout goes smooth, brilliant!!
