Setback on an Ally R15

Looking at a jack plate with 6" setback for my 15' Ally running a Merc 150 Inline. I don't have LWP so hoping to get the stock water intake back in the spray and use "scoops". Any suggestions?

You could hunt down Raceman, Bill Gohr, or John Tiger. None of these guys posts here much anymore but maybe they would reply to an email. All had/have small Ally's.

Thanks, I have gotten a wealth of info from the Facebook "Inline Six" group, and "Raceman" (Norris Wallace) is a member there.

No setback, messes up the balance. We ran JP for years with stock side pickups. If you have no rules then block the top 3 pickup holes.
