Bought an old 80 Eliminator 19ft kevlar that has Steve Donahue as the initial owner . This boat blue and white - Kevlar bottom and anodized blue setback bracket . This boat looks kinda special with the setback bracket going over transom and joined back to stringers . I believe he spent a bunch of time at the plant when it was being built . It shows and I would like to chat a bit with him on this hull . Any one know where he is at , I believe he has been with mercury for 30 years and is the stern drive tech/ KnowledgeBase in the California area thanks . I am not knowledgable enough to post a pic but it's a nice piece - no carpet and the floor/coreing just immaculate . Spoke to the owner of Eliminator in the winter of 18 . Thanks if you can help

I have 1 reply thanks and still searching for Steve in the California area . This old Eliminator of his and Bob Leach is a great example of quality and workmanship in coreing and kevlar construction as well as the transom bracketry that tied right back into stringers , not sure what Steve hung off the back but probably the latest Merc, was selling . But probably 6 most before consumers could buy it . Give it some thought please - would love to speak to Merc tech Donahue . I spoke to Bob Leach and he was certainly a gentleman and easilly approachable for such an icon .
