I have an 87 hydrostream valero yt modified v bottom. I am looking for steering cables but I don't know the exact size I believe my boat is a 17 footer if anyone can help me out with info I'd be greatly apprecaited.

If they are mercury ride quide steering cables they should have a number like 16.6 on the motor end of the cable. 16 6 would be 16.5 ft. They are available through Midwest marine in MI.
17 5 would be 17.5 ft.
