I have a nest close to my house and they hunt and drink at my pond often. They all have that "don't screw with me" look....Cool pic...

mommy and daddy must have swooped in sometime yesterday, he was gone when I got home
Still super cool to get that close.
even as a young Juvenal that beak and talons are very intimidating

We have a nest cam a few miles from my place that shows the nest 24/7. People were raising a fuss cause the eagles had a dead cat in the nest ripping it apart to feed the chicks. They also get peoples chickens and have swooped down and grabbed 3 pound fish out of my pond. Oh, they also eat other wild birds and squirrels. Eagles are not nesting now, but hang out in the tree...

That is cool. There are a lot of eagles in the swamps.

Got one that bathes on my beach most night just before dark he can see me to good for me to get a picture, I need a good telephoto lense, one time I just looked at him through a slat n the mini blinds and he saw me and took off. He spooks my little dog I hope he never decides he can take him.:eek:
