2.5 245 carb to 260/280?

I currently have a 2.5 245 carb motor and would like to go to EFI. There are a number of 280 complete electronics/horn/everything on here. I am having trouble finding the right front half to the block. I have been told that a BP 2.4 front half will work with my block and the other stuff, is that true? Any insight on doing this? Or anyone have a front half for sale?

have u considered laser efi?..weve done it several times and love em.....aint saying they compare to a 280 but make great motors.....slap a svs on front and get down

Laser efi should bolt right up to the carb intake I think? Should work good on the 24’ boat, should have more bottom but lack a little on top. That’s not a bad idea

bolt up yes..but not same......

my laser/245 would turn a 28 drag 8k rpm
