Hp retainer nut 15840 carrier nuts.

I have 2 of Mercury high performance bearing carrier retainer nuts.
These things are much more thicker than the thin stock ones and have more threads to grab onto the case. They are new. 15840 c

They are expensive. I dont know why they sell for over $100 but ill take $150 for the both of em.

I have someone intrested in these only if they are genuine Mercury products. How can i tell?
They are stamped with a Merc number . Do thoes other markings identify anything?
