View Full Version : Mercury Tech Help! 200 Optimax ECU repair

My 1999 200hp Optimax ECM quit firing the #2 direct injector. The problem was traced by a licensed mercury tech. Im looking for either someone who can repair the one i have, or a reliable solution. Im scared to buy a used ECM from ebay.

The computer isn’t fun to repair. And a fix is just a bandage it will bleed again.

So is rebuilding an engine or replacing a water pump

Those generally stay fixed, take it as a friendly warning.

Bad repairs on thoes will also also not be good.
