Okay I need you guys opinion. I have a 21 superboat with a
Mercury 2.5/280 and I need the best prop I can find to run top speed.
What prop should I get ?

Need more info.is it on a set back,what is the set back,what are you using now,there is no set in stone prop for any particular boat motor combination.try as many props as you can I would start with a Mercury pro et

the old 2.5 isnt a good motor for tha hull IMO. Hull is too heavy for a high rev motor. I would look at the merc 300. Great motor for that hull. 2 of them would put you in the trip digits easily. If you want to sell the 2.5 i have a light hydrostream i would put it on. used 300 mercs are plentiful.

1000+lbs on back of a 21 superboat? I dont know about that.
