Why do you speculate is his setup? Merc 300? 30+" prop? My screen is too small to see much detail.

300 hp and 34p prop will get it done.....Driving it up to 105+ is another story all together. The "pace" boat sounded very strong also....

Back around 1985 I ran one with a 200 on it for a few hours. Had a jack plate. I wanted to buy it but I couldn't figure out how to keep it from chine walking. IIRC it ran smooth up to about 55 mph. Owner knew less about it than I did.

You don't just get in the drivers seat of a hi-powered HydroStream and just drive it. It takes many hours of practice. Also, some hulls have bottom problems and will not handle well no matter what you do.
