You need some alone time with a good book. So light a candle (dipped in two stroke oil ) get a comfortable chair and read a merc v6 tech manual Not one of those silly Seloc or Clymer rags but an actual merc manual. It wont hurt and i think i counts for sunday school credit. You can do it water boy.

Do they make one for a 1990 BP with a 2.4 200 fishin' powerhead? :D

Well, um yeah, sorta kinda. My Merc Hi-Perf manual covers the BP and the oval port in ModVP trim. 99% of which would apply to your fishing motor. Heck, I'm using it to help with a straight up fishing motor, with a stock (albeit modified a bit) mid. Everything so far matches.

Maybe we'll get some folks here together and come up with The Official FrankenMerc Service and Repair Manual

:D :D

By definition BP is acronym or possibly initials standing for bridged port (exhaust ) that is only found in HP blocks built in the 80s.and early90s.

Apparently the “ fishn” powerhead has replaced one of the above powerheads
.
It occurs to me that your listed combination is physically impossible?

Let me suggest that you get a 2.4 200 manual and draw little cle like points on the fishn lowerunits.

Now I'm confused. This is a Bridge Port but with a 2.4 Fishin' powerhead. I think there called an oval port???

How is it impossible to put a Fishin' powerhead in place of the BP powerhead? Maybe it's just a fishin' block and pistons with all the BP stuff?

My serial # off of the swivel bracket or whatever it's called, Mercury Perfromance Products-OC276121

The guy who I bought it from told me he smoked the Chrome Bore/BP so he installed a fishn' powerhead.

Guess I better draw a Bob's Bigfoot on the lower as I'm bout to send my CLE to Bob's. :D
