1998 200 EFI
running on muffs, got water coming from these holes on either side of mid.,where is this water flowing from, doesnt look right?

There is supposed to be a bolt thru there that fixes a safety strap from mid around steering tube. That housing fills with water.

If you do not have or can get a strap (#14 above) but like to stop the water and exhaust you can just put a 3/8" bolt with lock nut.
That strap was used for mostly rubber mount motors or some O/S models.

thanks guys for the input. i never noticed that hole or straps in any of my other motors,they were there, just over-looked them(like the power wire to my ACU :rolleyes:)

Most the time they are so rusty you cant get them out so consider yourself lucky:D
