I found this decal set for a 3.0 alien cowl I have a 99 Promax is there a difference in size between 3.0 300x and the 2.5 promax ??????..... I'm not going to use the 300X I just like the white398689 and gray "Merc"

Your good to go , those decals will fit your alien

Thanks for the information I'm doing my boat all white with some black details here and there at the windshield and bumper rail...... So I thought the gray and white decals would look good

The 300x decals for a 3 liter will NOT fit on a 2.5l motor.
I know this for a fact.
Ryan can make them you may also be able to ask discontinued decals if they will do special order colors.
Another source may be Garzon Studios.
I have templates for these kits both 300x and 2.5l if you need them.
