I have the primer solenoid on my V4 85 which i am selling due to buying a 115
I want to keep the primer system thats on the 85.
So i have a set of carbs from a 200hp v6 can i just add these and a choke solenoid to the 85 ?
I understand the jetting will be different i think in the 200 carbs its a 58C
Apart from jetting is there anything else ?? is the wiring different do you still push the key to operate the choke plates ??
I need help on this Big Time

choke and primer work off the same switch. Push in the key to prime, push in the key to activate the choke plates.

Choke and primer interchange is easy enough. Rest of carb differences are not.

Push in the key to prime, push in the key to activate the choke plates.

Agree, I ran my 1978 V6 crossflow all last year with choke plates, 87.5 mph was my max speed and it should have been more!

because American motors are slightly different to the Belgium ones. usa motors seem to be more opened up on the porting.
